Who It Is For
Law enforcement officers, task force personnel, investigators, and agency teams responsible for developing and handling human sources, planning controlled operations, and coordinating field activity. Enrollment is restricted to verified law enforcement, military, and government personnel.

- Human source doctrine, categories, and the full source lifecycle
- Informant assessment across placement, access, suitability, and susceptibility
- Source motivation and the dynamics of effective handling
- Legal foundations, including the Fourth Amendment, probable cause, corroboration, discovery, and entrapment
- Aguilar-Spinelli, Illinois v. Gates, and Franks v. Delaware applied to affidavit discipline
- Sensitization versus tasking, communication boundaries, and documentation standards
Field Operations
- Controlled buys with pre and post operational procedures
- Field operational planning, risk assessment, and contingencies
- Surveillance integration and coordination
- Wanted person and point-out operations
- Operational debriefing and actionable intelligence development
- Failure analysis, source compromise indicators, and recovery
Practical Exercises
- Live operational scenarios and decision-making under pressure
